    ABOUT US

    MISSION

Our mission at FRPC is to shift the current culture of injury management in first responding from reactive to proactive. We believe in injury prevention through education, proactive and early intervention, and the development of physical and mental resilience.

    VISION

Our vision is to reduce workplace injuries among first responders and improve their overall well-being, ensuring they can continue serving their communities safely and effectively.

    OUR STORY

FRPC was created in response to the growing number of injuries affecting first responders, which have historically been managed reactively. First responders face unique challenges—physically demanding tasks, long hours, and high levels of stress. We aim to shift the culture of injury management to a more preventative approach, helping first responders avoid injury and stay physically prepared for the rigors of their job. Our program is built on field-tested protocols and real-life stories from those who have experienced the consequences of injury.

    Field Stories

Our program is built on real-life experiences. Below are just a few stories from first responders who have experienced injuries that could have been lessened or prevented with proactive care.

    Sarah's Story

Sarah, an EMT, injured her neck while holding a patient’s spine for over 45 minutes at an emergency scene. The strain kept her off work for months, a painful reminder of how unpredictable and physically demanding her job can be.

    Ryan's Story

Ryan, a firefighter, has struggled with recurring back injuries for years. After a 10-hour call, his back finally gave out, sidelining him for months. He wishes he had taken better care of his body earlier, recognizing that injury prevention could have saved him from this long-term struggle.

    Brian's Story

Brian, a seasoned police officer, ruptured his Achilles tendon while chasing a suspect. His recovery took months, and a second rupture delayed his return even further. He admits that early in his career, he didn’t consider injury prevention, but after two significant setbacks, he now understands the importance of physical readiness and proactive care
